Artwork Tips & Common Issues

Common issues that delay production and how to avoid them:

  • Low resolution images: Ensure your artwork is at least 300 DPI at print size. Web images (72 DPI) will not print well.
  • Missing fonts: Convert all text to outlines/paths before submitting to avoid font substitution issues.
  • Wrong color mode: Submit in CMYK for best color accuracy. RGB files may shift in color during conversion.
  • Too many colors: Screen printing works best with spot colors. If your design has gradients or photographic elements, ask us about DTF or DTG options.
  • Insufficient bleed: If your design extends to the edge of the print area, include at least 0.25" bleed.
